Hey Tight Wearers,

I'm gonna be at Cancon next year for WOTC, but I'd like to play some VS action (and have a beer) at night time, at least once. Anyone up for it?

PS-I suspect strongly that the 2010 GRUDGE MATCH will be held at Cancon again this year, with sinilar results to the last 2 years. If you don't want to see Vunderdud sobbing in the fetal position in the ladies toilets again like last year, maybe look away...

Hey Honest,

The ACT Inmates shuold be there as usual. My time is even more restricted that usual with the arrival of a Little Pittman, but I'll be there as long as we don't end up going away for the long weekend.

We generally have our first Player of the Year (POTY) tournament of the year at CANCON.

CANCON 2010


honest (and others that are keen) we are holding a "pwn your brother" VS format at cancon 2010. You get the chance to tell your brother they are insignificant and you pwn their arse. the following pwness has occured for a 60 card deck and players will be playing the following (local rules are enforced: UDE bannings, no fate set, no blink 3):

scott (bignuts) = new gods characters only
ike (michael) = masters of evil characters only
raider (ross) = cards only from DC origins (he has no other VS cardboard available): specifically, League of Assasins character cards.
chris (chappy) = emerald enemies characters only
andrew (andrew) = characters cards that contain the mutant trait only: extra pwness = andrew has to play 4 copies of "HOMO SUPERIOR" as well.

if any players are keen to play, let me know. Your arse has to be in the ring to be pwned.

andrew: you can only play character cards with the mutant trait. like ross, i think you need an addtional restriction (only cos you are being pwned) and that is, you need to play with 4 copies of "HOMO SUPERIOR"*.


* this addtional restriction is only acceptable if all canberra heroes forum members agree to it. So in a nutshell, you get 1 upgrade to pwn your brother but your upgrade has to be thematic to that pwnness.
