Collusion and Splits

You cannot concede for splits. At any time. Even in the finals.

You cannot drop for splits before the final 2. If you are the final two players remaining in a tournament you can negotiate a split divided anyway you like encompassing all prizes including the PC invite. The player not wanting the invite needs to drop after they win the semis. You cannot decide to play and then drop. Once you have started a match you cannot drop (obviously). True you could concede, but chances are you would do it in such as way as that you would get DQed.

This means that if you decide to split 4 ways, it is best to play it out, otherwise suspicions will be there that you colluded. You cannot decide who drops and who gets the points before the final 2.

Splits ARE legal at ANY time. If you split, basically you MUST play it out. Also best to discuss all splits in the presence of a judge, they will prevent you from doing anything stupid.

Feel free to ask questions or add things that you think are missing in this explanation, and I will edit it accordingly approximately once or twice per year.
